Twilight Zone

Hello all!  I'm going to try and actually write this post so you all know I am still somewhat alive!  LOL!!!  I'm still in the process of getting better with medication for my thyroid.  It's awful when all I want to do is sleep ... and I still have a hard time keeping my head to actually do anything worthwhile.  I feel like I'm operating with only 1/4 of a brain!!!!

And to add to that - now my computer is giving me fits and may have to go out for repair!  Lovely.  It never rains but it pours, right?  But it's May first, so hopefully all that rain brings green grass, green trees, and beautiful flowers!  And NO MORE PROBLEMS!!!!

Gorgeous jeweled egg was made for my mother
in the early 60's by Mrs. L.G. Balfour (Balfour Jewelry
of Attleboro, MA-all gone now, building and all!)

I've missed keeping up with all of my wonderful bloggy friends-I feel like I've been lost in the Twilight Zone!
I don't know what's been happening with everyone and I haven't left any comments in such a long time.  So sorry for that!

Bunny girl (Noialand pattern)

The only things I've done for crafting is work on a few hand-sewn dolls while facing the TV screen.  And usually only at night--I seem to get a little life in me late.

Sometimes I sit like a lump, though.  That's the biggest problem.  Being able to get anything actually finished. And doing the normal stuff like washing dishes (huh??!!) or vacuuming the carpets (pets??? can you say cat fur???)

Owls for a little garland (Noialand)

And let's not even discuss think about laundry!!!  Or cooking eating.  I will be happy once I really get some good energy back.  That has been such a crummy problem for me.  Does anyone else out there have a thyroid problem???????  Any words or information on how you handled it and all would be gratefully received!!!!

I hope I am able to post this - I'll never remember what I said if I lose it all!  And I probably will not have my computer after the 3rd.  But there are a couple of things I really must do (both SOOO long overdue) :

1.  Get in touch with Chris from Perfectly Printed ~

2.  Call Elizabeth of Creative Breathing ~

Please forgive me for not linking everything here.  I am afraid to push my luck with this computer.

Love to all,

  1. I am so sorry that you have been so sick. I wish I would have known. I have thyroid problems. Even though they say that the medication has my levels in a normal range, I still struggle. But it sounds like you have a ways to get to normal levels. There are specialists if your doctor has trouble getting it under control. You poor thing.
I love those owls. Feel better and keep us posted.

  2. I was able to get back to normal pretty quick once I convinced my doctor to just TRY the medicine! I have family members that take a whole lot more and I have one friend that needs her adjusted occasionally. Everyone is different but don't let them tell you how you should be feeling! I eventually ended up seeing specialist. Feel better! I will be keeping you in my prayers!
